This week the students are exploring new motor patterns using cup stacking. We will be using stacking cups to improve hand-eye coordination, ambidexterity and quickness. Students will also use the cups to build aerobic capacity during a game called Upstack/Downstack and work on the three stack. Students continue to focus on Standard 1 (motor patterns) and Standard 5 (valuing physical activity). students also built upper-body endurance during the game Rock Paper Scissors Olympics. Please, ask them about their class.
