This week in the gym we will be working on our kicking patterns. We will always kick at a target in the gym, but our patterns change depending on the target. K students will continue to work on moving safely in the gym using our animal patterns. They will also explore their kicking pattern using soccer balls. First and second grades will be working on kicking to a variety of targets and identifying the changes that take place in the their kicking pattern depending on the target. Grades 3&4 will explore various kicking patterns and then strategize and apply which will work best in a game called Bulls In The Ring. Grades 2-4 will also be working on their upper-body endurance using the push up. Please, ask your student about their class this week.
