Hard to believe fall is here already. This week students are working on sharpening their throwing skills on stationary and moving targets. K-1 students practice basic throwing cues, which include pointing at our target, stepping toward our target and throwing at our target. Upper grades utilize the basic cues and focus on transferring their weight while throwing and following through toward their target. Students applied these skills in an anchor game called Pumpkin Patch. Their goal in the game is to release Jack from the pumpkin patch. Please, ask them about it.
